Lamtharn Hantrakul aka yaboihanoi is a Bangkok born-and-based mixed-media artist; reimagining, celebrating and challenging Thai and Southeast Asian culture through the cutting edge of technology and electronic bass/dance music.

 His compositions are unique in their uncompromising use of tunings, melodies and rhythms from Thai classical music. In 2022, he won the AI Song Contest 2022 with this signature track “Enter Demons and Gods”, fusing his background as a composer and coder to analyze and re-synthesize the Thai  Phi instrument into powerful basses and synth-heavy leads. He recently debuted his new audio-visual set of “Electro-Thai” music at SONAR Music Festival 2025 in Barcelona, Spain, featuring visuals derived directly from Thai Khon dance and Nang Yai Shadow theater. 

As a solo artist and collaborator, his music has been featured in festivals including WALLIFORNIA (2025), INTUR (2024), HOLLAND Festival (2025), Taiwain International Festival for the Arts and local venues across Southeast Asia.
